Please refer to the checklists below to ensure that you're ready.
If you use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari as your standard browser already, simply click on the
invitation link shared/sent to you by the meeting's organizer. If not, you'll need to download Chrome, Edge or Safari to access the ROOM.
Right now, ROOM works on the following browsers on a PC or Mac, Android, iPhone and iPad.
These are the recommended specs for all users (account holders and invitees), alike:
- ANDROID: Google Chrome 100 (Recommended: Google Chrome version 108)
- ANDROID: Microsoft Edge 100 (Recommended: Microsoft Edge version 108)
- MacOS X: Google Chrome 100 or Safari ver 15.5 (Recommended: Chrome ver 108, Safari 16)
- iOS: Google Chrome 100 or Safari ver 15.5 (Recommended: Google Chrome ver 108, Safari 16)
Room3D is designed to use most desktop's peripheral cameras and microphones, as well as most laptop's built-in cameras/speakers.
- For the most optimal experience it is recommendation that you have a Full HD+ camera.
- Also, in the interest of supporting the best user experience, we recommend that you should not have VPN or a Proxy server turned on.
You will need an account if you wish to create meetings and invite others to your room venue. If you are invited to someone else's room venue, you can simply join through your Chrome or Edge browser without an account. There's nothing to download or install.
BROWSING ROOM's plans
Starting on our website's Home page you can select either one of the blue "Sign up for free" buttons to begin the process. Optionally, you can review the comparative plans at your leisure by clicking the "Price & Pricing" before proceeding.
Upon pressing the "Sign up for Free" (or "Try Now") button, you'll be taken to the free account registration page.
As soon as you enter your email address and a password, an email verification message will be sent to said address without delay, although new subscribers won't be asked to confirm email addresses for one full month. You'll automatically be redirected to a pre-selected room to streamline your first experience.

ENTERING AS AN INVITEE (no subscription)
If you've arrived on the ROOM landing page for the first time, you can browse through the Plans Pricing page ("Plans & Pricing") or try it out for free, by pressing the appropriate buttons ("Sign up for free", "Try now").
However, if you simply received an invitation to a ROOM meeting, once you click on the invitation link, you'll be taken to the ROOM website's meeting loading page (not the website's landing page) displaying the panel below, requesting a user name that ROOM can use as your "virtual name tag" during the meeting. You'll also have a chance to select your camera and microphone before entering (in case you have more than one of each camera or mic "device").
You are not obligated to enter your real name, but a name of some kind is recommended, otherwise your in-meeting personal cutout will automatically be assigned a designation such as "Guest-X".
If you'd like to create/host your own meetings, however, you need to have a registered account.
If you'd like to sign up for a free account, just go to https://room3d.com/ and click on the blue "Sign up for free" button, at the screen's upper right.
