PROCEDURAL CHECKLIST:
Once you've signed up for a free trail account, you'll be taken to ROOM's Dashboard page, from where you can browse through our collection of rooms and easily create a meeting by simply clicking on the "Copy Link" button by your chosen room's description. You don't even need to enter the room!
Incidentally, the Dashboard page is the initial page to which you'll be directed any time you log on in the future, as seen below. You can use its filters to narrow down the default selection to something more in line with what you need (filter by meeting attendee limit or by room type).
As a meeting organizer, you always have the option to explore any number of rooms via the Dashboard page before you make your selection. Any link that you make will create a room reserved especially for you that will remain active for 6 months.
These so called "persistent rooms" are often used to schedule regular (recurring) meetings for projects or study sessions where attendants need to gather over longer periods of time. But, you are not limited in any way by having a persistent room. In other words, you do not need to "deactivate" the room in any way in order to create other meetings at will, for any purpose.
In addition, an important thing to remember as a meeting organizer is that before you share that link (once it's copied to your clipboard), you need to include a short message about the desired date and time for the meeting, since these invitation links are not automatically entered into a scheduling app or calendar nor is any text automatically generated with a specific scheduling message. To share the link, paste it into an email, text app, or manually into your own calendar to send it our to your prospective guests.
