Allow Room to access your camera

To use your camera in Chrome, Room needs permission. You’re asked to allow access the first time you join a video meeting.

To allow Room to use your camera:

1. While in a meeting, go to the address bar, select the setting icon on the left-end and toggle on Camera from the pop-up window.
2. Select Always allow and then Done.

Allow Chrome to access your camera

On computers with Chrome, you must allow the browser to access your camera. To grant permission again:

1. Type the following to the address bar: chrome://settings/content/camera.
2. Select "Sites can ask to use your camera."
3. If present, under "Allowed to use your camera," next to "https://room3d.com:443," click Delete.
4. Refresh the Room page.
5. When prompted, grant camera and microphone access.

Allow your system or device to access your camera

Enable camera access on Windows

1. On your computer, select Start and then Settings.
2. Select Privacy & security and then Camera.
3. Turn on Camera access and Let apps access your camera.

Enable camera access on macOS

1. Go to System Settings and then Privacy & Security.
2. Select Camera.
3. Check the box for the app that uses Room (Google Chrome, Safari).
